The Hales Newsletter is the journal of the Hales Family. It is a 16-page quarterly publication of the Hales Family History Society (previously known as the Hales Genealogical Society). It contains information such as: Current Events, Historical Articles, Research Information and Status, and other miscellaneous items about Hales families, including those with variant spellings.
Below on this page are the on-line versions of Hales Newsletters, both the Old Series and the New Series. Select the index first to determine which issue contains the article you wish to see, then select that issue.

The Hales Newsletter – Old Series
The Old Series of The Hales Newsletter was published between 1970 and 1981. There were 30 issues published between these dates. It consisted of mimeographed 8 ½ by 11 inch pages of typewritten information plus sketches and pictures. All of these newsletters have been scanned, reformatted, edited, converted to HTML and placed on line. If you have a better copy of a picture, please send it to me and I will update the newsletter picture. If you discover a typographical error in these newsletters, please let me know.

Printed versions of any Old Series Hales Newsletter is $3.00 postpaid. Printed versions of any New Series Hales Newsletter is $3.75. To receive copies as they are printed you should become a member of the Hales Family History Society. Please return to the home page for instructions for becoming a member.
